Thymelicus lineola
Description

Although I have named it as an essex skipper (Thymelicus lineola) it may be a small skipper (Thymelicus sylvestris), as their resemblance is really hi. The best form to separate them when just the upper side of the wings is visible is the color of the tip of the antennae, but in this case, as they are not well focused is difficult to identify to which species does belong this butterfly. As the tips look quite dark, I have opted to the first one Thymelicus lineola. A nice explanation about how to differentiate this two species can be found in the webpage www.learnaboutbutterflies.com.
