Description

The sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus) is the biggest toothed whale in the world, and one of the most widespread cetacean species. Is the species that dives more deeply, reaching 3.000 meters under water, and keeping the breath for more than one our. It forages in the very deep of the oceans, where it feeds on octopuses, rays and squids. This photography was taken in the fjord of Anfjorden, between the Andøya island and the Norwegian coast.
