Description

Titania's fritillary (Clossiana titania) is a nymphalid butterfly species with a artcic-alpine disjunct distribution. It can be found in the main mountain ranges of Europe except the Pyrenees, and also in southern Scandinavia, Estonia, Latvia and north-western Russia. This photography was taken near Franscia, in the Central Alps.
