Argynnis niobe

Description The niobe fritillary (Argynnis niobe) is a common butterfly distributed throughout Europe and Asia, that can be easily confused with the very similar species Argynnis adippe (in fact, I am not totally sure if the photographed butterfly belongs to the former).
